5-Day Garden Route in 4-star Accommodation (BB)

Pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounding areas between 5:30 and 6:00am. (We also pick up at Cape Town International Airport and Cape Town Cruise Terminal.) After pick up we will travel along the N2 national road with a stop in Grabouw at Peregrine Farm Stall for an optional coffee, pastry and restrooms (complimentary).

From Grabouw we connect with the R62, passing by Swellendam and Ladysmith until we reach the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn. (The travelling time will be approximately 4-hours.) Upon our arrival in Oudtshoorn, choose between a Heritage Tour or an Adventure Tour. The Heritage Tour is an easy walking guided tour in the Caves, whereas the Adventure Tour requires slightly more fitness levels as it involves some crawling through narrow tunnels (recommended for slender people).

Our next attraction will be at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge where you can enjoy an optional lunch (excluded) as a safari game drive. The wide range of animals include Hippo, Elephant, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Rhino, Springbok and more. The duration of safaris is ± 2 hours.

After our safari we will drive down to our accommodation in Great Brak River. Dinner transfer is included to Kaai 4 Restaurant (18:00-20:00pm).

Today we depart at 9:00am after breakfast at our accommodation. Take to the sky on a helicopter tour for approximately 8 minutes. Thereafter a Shark Cage Diving boat trip (weather permitting). These experiences are safe and supervised qualified specialist guides/rangers. (Please not: Helicopter flight and Shark Cage Diving excursions entrance fees are excluded.) Dinner transfers will be included from 18:00 until 20:00pm. Dinner for your own account.

On our third morning we explore Knysna. We embark on a Kloofing/Canyoning adventure where one descends down a river within a canyon or ravine. This may entail climbing, possible abseiling down waterfalls and swimming! We provide a wetsuit, helmet & life-jacket.

After lunch we explore the Knysna Heads. Dinner transfers will be included from 18:00 until 20:00pm. Dinner for your own account.

Today we travel to Tsitsikamma National Park. The travelling time from Mossel Bay to Tsitsikamma is approximately 2-hours, 30-minutes. We take a short hike in the National to Storms River Mouth for a guided walk on the 900M Suspension Bridge and enjoy a canopy tour (zip lining) in the Tsitsikamma Forest. Note that entrance fees are excluded.

In the afternoon we visit Birds of Eden and Monkeyland. Entrance fees to Birds of Eden and Monkeyland is excluded. Dinner transfers will be included from 18:00 until 20:00pm. Dinner for your own account.

Guests will be collected at their accommodation after Breakfast and check out. Thereafter we make our way to Cape Town via the Cape Agulhas for photos and views at the official meeting point of the Two Oceans: Indian and Atlantic Oceans. This is also the Southernmost Tip of Africa. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation in Cape Town (Accommodation in Cape Town are for traveller's own arrangements and excluded from tour price).
