The Ancient Megaliths

An impressive trip to visit the magnificently crafted 11th century temples around Bali. Start off at GoaGajah, a cave that was previously used by monks and hermits for praying. The gaping mouth of this famous Elephant Cave forms an entrance to the cave depicting leaves, rocks, animals, ocean waves and demonic human shapes. Following this, visit a traditional temple, Samuan Tiga in Bedulu, before heading to Gunung Kawi,our last destination. Along the journey ,take in the breathtaking views of the rice terraces to your left and right before reaching an ancient tomb carved out of the rock face of the Pakerisan River.

After we finish at elephant cave temple we will drive about 30 minute to north to see one of the quiet temple in ubud area and also this is place for Balinese people doing purification or water blessings. In here we will spent around 30 minutes. And if you want to do purification we are very happy to accompany you during the ritual.

Next place are Gunung Kawi temple similar name from other one but different function and meaning. This temple has been built on 8th to 12th century by one of the king in Bali. This temple has 10 beautiful shrines with very ancient carved stones.
