Heading directly to Wenshu Temple which is a fairly typical large Buddhist monastery can dates back to the Tang dynasty and is named after a monk who lived there in the late 17th century. Contained within the monastery are reputedly over 400 statues made of stone, iron, bronze, clay and wood, in various shapes and sizes.

Relax on a 30 minutes shuttle bus ride to Tianzi mountain, this afternoon you will explore the famous Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. It is one of the park's 3,000 vertical quartz-sandstone pillars, and it stretched 1,080 meters into the air. Previously, it was known as the Southern Sky Column. It was renamed to its present name in January 2010 for having served as inspiration for the "Hallelujah Mountains" in the film Avatar. A Buddhist monk Huigen went on a pilgrimage visit to Mount Emei and holy Tibet, got to India and finally reached Burma to take five pieces of Jade Buddha and prepare to send back to Mount Wutai, one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China. On the way he passed Shanghai, he left two – one is the sitting Buddha and the other is the reclining Buddha and built a temple called Jade Buddha Temple.
