After meeting your friendly private guide and driver in the morning, head up to Tiananmen Square as your first stop of the day. See the Monument to the People's Heroes, pass by Great Hall of the People and learn about the brief history of the New China Era since 1949.

Next, visit the the famous Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum. It's is a palace complex in central Beijing, and from here you will learn about the history and interesting stories of the former Chinese imperial palace in the Ming and Qing dynasty,

After your lunch, continue your tour to Hutong and beautiful Houhai Lake area where you can learn about the old Beijing neighborhood and culture. Take a relaxing rickshaw ride to enjoy the surrounding.

In the late afternoon, walk around the Drum Tower area, and watch the drum performance.

The Temple of Heaven was the place for past emperors to worship the God of Heaven, and pray for good harvest and raining. It's interesting to see many Chinese elders dance, sing songs or play Taiji in the square.

Visit the most famous Great Wall section at Mutianyu. Enjoy a easy hike and photo taking there. Optional cable or toboggan ride if you wish to have more fun and save some energy. If you have been to this part of Great Wall before, you can choose an alternative section, like Huanghuacheng, Badaling, Juyongguan, XInangshuihu, Jingshanling or Simatai.

Visit Summer Palace, the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China in the afternoon. See the beautiful Kunming Lake, Long Corridor, 17 Arch Bridge and the Stone Boat.
