Your driver guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location.

After a two-hour ride, you will arrive at the Longji parking lot, where you can purchase entry tickets. Next, you will head to the Longji Ping’an Rice Terraces, the most beautiful terraces, which were the earliest to be discovered by tourists and photographers. From the Ping’an parking lot, you will walk up to Viewing Platform No. 2 through Village via stone stairs. Along the way, you can observe the daily life of the Zhuang people and their traditional wooden houses. When you reach Viewing Platform No. 2, you will see the iconic "Seven Stars with the Moon" formation. Afterward, you will walk to Viewing Platform No. 1 along a flat path passing bamboo groves, rice terraces. On arriving at Viewing Platform No. 1, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the Longji Rice Terraces. Finally, you will walk downstairs back into the village and enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Be sure to try bamboo rice, bamboo chicken, and smoked pork with bamboo shoots.

After a wonderful day exploring the Longji Rice Terraces, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, giving you time to relax or take a nap. You will arrive at your Guilin hotel by around 6:00 pm.

Your English-speaking driver guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 8:00 am. 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Transfer from Guilin Hotel to the dock. 9:30 am – 1:30 pm: Embark on a 4-hour Li River Cruise. As you glide along the serene waters, you’ll be captivated by the stunning landscapes, featuring lush bamboo groves, majestic karst peaks, water buffalo wading in the river, and quaint villages that seem to have leaped straight out of a traditional Chinese painting. A delightful Chinese lunch box will be served on board, allowing you to savor the flavors while soaking in the picturesque views. Notes: You will enjoy the Li River Cruise independently, as your driver guide will travel separately to Yangshuo and meet you at the Yangshuo dock. From there, they will escort you to West Street, where you can spend an hour soaking in its unique atmosphere.

1:30 pm – 3:30 pm: After disembarking, you’ll have approximately one hour of free time to wander through the charming West Street. Steeped in history, West Street is Yangshuo’s oldest thoroughfare, dating back over 1,400 years. Nestled in the heart of Yangshuo, it rose to prominence in the 1980s and remains a vibrant hub of culture and activity.

Following your exploration of West Street, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Guilin. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange for you to be dropped off at a hotel in Yangshuo.
