Your private driver will pick you up in the early morning and transfer to Xi'an Railway Station to catch your high-speed train to Pingyao(train departs at 7:41am). Your driver will assist with obtaining the tickets.

Upon arrival at Pingyao Railway Station, look for your name, meet your tour guide and driver at the Exit. Then transfer to your hotel (on your own arrangement) for check-in.

After a short break, your tour guide will take you to a local restaurant. After enjoy your lunch, visit to Pingyao Ancient City. First, have a walking on the City Wall accompanied by your private guide. Then, visit the highlights in Pingyao Ancient Town, including Pingyao Confucian Temple, Rishengchang Former Bank, Ming and Qing Dynasties Street, etc. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Pingyao. If your hotel is in the Ancient City, you can walk back with your guide.

In the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and head to Qiao's Family Compound, located in Qi County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and is 42 km (25 mi) away from Pingyao Ancient City. It is a large architectural complex, the magnificent building reflects the unique living styles of northerners in ancient China during the Qing Dynasty.

Then stop for a local lunch. After lunch, continue to Shuanglin Temple, a large Buddhist temple in the Shanxi Province of China. Founded in 6th century, it is notable for its collection of more than 2,000 decorated colorful clay statues, reflecting the exquisite skills of the artisans of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Ancient City of Pingyao in 1997.

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Pingyao Railway Station to catch your train back to Xi'an (train departs at 6:18pm). Your driver will meet you at Xi'an Railway Station and transfer back to your Xi'an hotel. If you choose tour ending in Pingyao, you will be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.
