Your private guide and driver will pick you up at 9:00am in your Xiamen hotel and transfer to the ferry terminal.Then you will enjoy a 20-minute relaxing ferry to your first highlight--Gulangyu Island, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the island is about 2 km² in area. This scenic area is renowned for its natural beauty, ancient relics, and its varied architecture. It is ranked at the top of the list of the ten most-scenic areas in Fujian Province.

Upon arrival at Gulangyu Island-the "garden on the sea". You will first climb onto the highest point Riguang Mountain, give you a bird eye view of the Gulangyu island and even the Xiamen city that lies beyond.

Get down from Riguang Mountain, you will visit to Shuzhuang Garden, a perfect destination for enjoying the beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of the hills and sea, appreciating the natural beauty of China. The Piano Museum in it is home to an impressive collection of antique pianos from around the world. It is a must-see attraction.

After the visit on Gulangyu Island, you will take the ferry back to the Xiamen island and have an authentic local lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Nanputuo Temple, a famous Buddhist temple founded in the Tang dynasty(618-907). It embodies the long history and culture of South-east China,and is famous as a "Temple of a thousand years".

After Nanputuo Temple visit, you will have a leisure time that walking at the famous Kulangsu Huandao Road, which is a ring road beginning from Xiamen University and proceeding with the coastline to Wuyuan Bay. This is where your wonderful day ends. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After meeting your guide in the morning, hop into an air conditioned non smoking private vehicle and start your exciting tour. It takes about 2.5 hours from Xiamen downtown to Tianluokeng Tulou Clusters. It is the most popular site of Nanjing Tulou and even the whole Fujian Tulou clusters. Upon arrival, you will first walk up to the viewing platform and have a bird-eye view of Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster from the best angle, known as “Four Dishes and a Soup” with 3 round, 1 oval and 1 rectangular well preserved earthen building, looking really like a set of meal.

Then you will go to a local Hakka family to enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch. After lunch, go to discover Yuchang Building, built during 1308-1338. It is the present oldest Tulou and the largest and highest round Tulou with highest floor height in Nanjing region.

Then, continue to Ta'xia Village. It is a tiny village with a little stream flowing in the center. Built in 1426 in Ming Dynasty by Zhang Family, it has been a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and was listed in the 15 Chinese Landscape Villages. After the tour, you can relax in the car and drive back to Xiamen.
