You will meet your English-speaking guide and driver at Beijing International Airport or Daxing Airport, then visit the stunning Summer Palace, an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese garden art, which harmoniously blends man-made landscapes with nature, followed by an interesting tea ceremony at a teahouse.

And then proceed to your hotel accommodation at the Great Wall at Mutianyu, which has a unique architectural style, with a dense concentration of enemy towers and dangerous passes. There are battlements on both sides of the city. On the southeast side there are three enemy towers and stands a main pass platform. It is rare in the Great Wall; in the northwest, there is a pass built at an altitude of more than 1200 metres.

You can wake up early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise at Mutianyu on your own, followed by a short visit to the impressive Jade Museum, and next to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world and the main gate to the imperial city of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Then visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, an unrivalled masterpiece of ancient architecture and the largest and most structurally complete complex of ancient buildings in the world in existence. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will also visit a silk factory and learn about the traditional silk culture there.

You will then proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven, the largest surviving ancient ceremonial complex in China, before returning to your hotel.
