A via ferrata is a protected climbing route that uses steel cables, rungs, ladders, and bridges to allow climbers to safely ascend rock faces. In Chinese, it's called Tianti (Sky Ladder), as shown in the above picture. It measures 551 feet long (168 meters) and spans between two cliffs at an elevation of 5,000 feet.

Tianmen Mountain Cable Car: Experience a breathtaking journey on what is lauded as the "world's longest alpine passenger cable car," lifting you from the city bustle directly into a pristine "garden in the sky." Guigu Plank Road & Glass Skywalk: We will wander along the Guigu Plank Road, built into the side of the cliff, and test our courage on the famous Glass Skywalk. Gaze through the transparent floor to the abyss below for a truly heart-stopping "walk in the clouds." Tianmen Cave ("Heaven's Gate"): We'll take a series of escalators built through the mountain to reach the iconic Tianmen Cave. This massive, naturally formed archway through the mountain is a spectacular sight, truly resembling a gateway to the heavens. Tongtian Avenue (99 Bends Road): To conclude our day, we'll take a park shuttle bus down the winding Tongtian Avenue, a mountain road famous for its 99 sharp turns, offering a final, thrilling perspective of the mountain's grandeur.

In Yuanjiajie, you will witness the most iconic "Avatar" scenery: Qiankun Pillar ("Hallelujah Mountain"): The original prototype for the floating mountains in the film. You can capture the perfect photo from a prime viewing platform. Enchanting Platform (Mihun Tai): This viewpoint offers the densest and most stunning concentration of pillar-like peaks, creating a dreamlike, otherworldly landscape. The First Bridge Under Heaven: A natural rock slab that stretches precariously between two peaks, forming a natural bridge—a true testament to the power of nature.

After leaving the hotel, we'll enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and begin our day with a hike along what is often called one of the world's most beautiful canyons. We will follow the crystal-clear stream through the base of the towering sandstone pillars. The air here is incredibly fresh in this natural oxygen bar.

The views here are the most vast and spectacular. We will visit Helong Park and find the perfect angle to admire the iconic Imperial Brush Peaks and Fairy Presenting Flowers. As the afternoon sun casts a golden glow on the peaks, we will descend the mountain via the Tianzi Mountain Cableway. The ride offers a final, god-like perspective of the incredible stone forest, providing a perfect end to our adventure.
