It takes about 1.5 hours to drive there. Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. You could take the cable car to the half way and then you can start to hike and enjoy the beauty of Great Wall and it's surrounding. After the hiking, the lunch will be arranged at town, it is not a tourist restaurant.
