Your guide will pick you up from hotel and escort to Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center just 10 km (6 miles) north of Chengdu, where you can see lovely pandas eating and playing. You will have some great opportunities to take some memorable pictures of pandas here. In addition, it is also a pleasant experience to walk through the wide bamboo garden at the center.

Then the guide and driver will take you to Leshan Giant Buddha. A typical Chinese lunch will be arranged for you. Then you will visit the Buddha by hiking. Here the largest Stone Statue of Buddha in the world sits in the turbulent joint of three rivers. We will hike on the zigzagging mountain trails to enjoy the wonder of "Mountain is a sleeping Buddha and Stone Buddha sits in its heart" After visit, drive to Emeishan Hotel. Stay overnight in Emeishan

In the early morning, you will firstly take local environment bus to the Golden summit of mountain. It is a beautiful but huge mountain. It will be more than 1 hour’s driving to the parking ground of Leidongping, and then continue walking about 30 minutes to the start of cable car. You may encounter some monkeys begging food in the mountain trail. Arrive at the top of Emeishan Mountain very soon. When sky is clear, you can overlook the Sichuan Basin, or even see the snow peak of Mt Gongka hundred miles away. And the huge golden Buddha Statue is looking into 10 directions by his 10 faces. Descend the mountain in the afternoon, if time permit, you can walk to Tiger Subduing Temple, also called Fuhu temple at the foot of mountain. It is a beautiful temple of nuns, exquisite, ancient, and less tourist tracking. After the visit, drive back to Chengdu.
