The driver picked up the customer at Surabaya Airport. You are suggested to arrive at the airport before 15:00. It takes about 2.5-3 hours from airport to Bromo hotel. When you arrive at hotel, it would be about 6 o'clock. It your free time. You can wonder around the hotel and find a restaurant for dinner. Then take a good rest, because you will need to wake up really early tomorrow.

You need to wake up around 3 am, take 30 minutes to prepare for grooming, and we arrange a transfer by jeep at the hotel at 3:30 am. The jeep takes you through the black sand area, climbing over the Penanjakan Peak (the highest observation deck) to watch the magical sunrise. It takes about 1 hour from the hotel to the observation deck parking area. You will wait for Bromo sunrise at Peak Penanjakan. When you arrive at the parking lot, your need to walk about 200 meters to the Penanjakan Peak observation deck, and wait for sunrise to take beautiful photos. After sunrise viewing, you need to return to our jeep, descend the mountain, cross the black sand to the Bromo volcano, and take about 1 hour from the observation deck to the Bromo volcano parking lot.

Arrive at the Bromo parking lot and starting to climb the volcano. you can walk or ride a horse to the foot of the volcano, about 1.8 kilometers from the foot to the crater, with 200 steps of the volcanic staircase. Note that the horse riding fee need to be paid by yourself, it's not included. After the Bromo tour, return to the jeep and drive back to the hotel. Enjoy breakfast at hotel and take a shower. Check out the hotel before 12 o'clock and transfer to Ijen hotel. It takes about 6 hours' driver to Ijen from Bromo. We will arrive at the Ijen Hotel around 5 pm.

Wake up at 00:00 in the morning, check out the hotel and drive to Palting (Ijen Parking Lot) for 2 hours. Enjoy the hotel breakfast box on the way. Arrive at Palting (Ijen Parking Lot) at about 2 o'clock and start hiking to climb the volcano. The journey from the foot of the volcano to the crater is about 3 kilometers, and it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to climb. You can see "Blue Fire" at the bottom. You might meet the local sulfur miner here. Then we return to the parking lot at about 7 am and transfer to Surabaya airport (5 hours' driver) or Ketapang harbor (2.5 hours' driver). You can reach Surabaya Airport between 16:00-17:00 if there is no traffic jam.
