We depart from Durban at 6am and head off to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve for a 4x4 game drive. The game drive will commence at 10am and end at 1pm. A game drive in Hluhluwe Imfolozi is an unforgettable experience. Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve set in the heart of Zululand where Africa’s Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhinoceros) roam the flourishing savannah. The Park contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora and is characterised by hilly topography. The list of animals at the park is long and varied. The Hluhluwe Imfolozi Reserve is noted for its White Rhino conservation. Their Centenary Capture Centre is celebrated for its exceptional research in animal capture, rehabilitation and release as well their approach to sustainable ecotourism in South Africa.

After breakfast we do a Hippo & Croc Boat Cruise in St Lucia Estuary. On this Hippo & Croc tour, the local guide will inform you of the Isimangaliso’s history and its incredible wildlife. Imagine seeing Hippos Yawning and Grunting up close while out on one of the largest estuaries in Africa. An iSimangaliso Wetland Park Boat Cruise is one of the most favorite attractions in Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. This 2-hour Hippo and Croc Boat Safari traverses approximately 8km in a northerly direction on the St Lucia Estuary, which is within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, South Africa's very first world heritage site. Great opportunities for birdwatching, scenic safari. The main objective is to provide knowledge of the spectacular St Lucia Estuary ecosystem, whilst providing an opportunity for photographs and memories that will last a lifetime.

After the hippo & croc boat cruise, we take a lunch break. Thereafter we go for a game drive in Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. This is a chance again to see a wide range of animals in this beautiful game reserve.

In the morning after breakfast we head off to Cape Vidal in Isimangaliso for a game drive. We get to see a lot of wildife. From elephants, giraffes, kudus, zebras, antelopes, rhino, buffaloes, and many more. We also see a lot of different species of birds. We really enjoy the setting at this beautiful game reserve. In the afternoon we depart from Isimangaliso and head back to Durban.
