1 Day Romantic Tour in Oriental Provence Lavender Manor and Mutianyu Great Wall

You will be picked up from your hotel at your own convenience then begin your wonderful trip from the awe-inspiring, historic Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Known for the beauty of its precipitous terrain it runs along the high mountain ridges. In order to more easily enjoy the panoramic views, you can choose to either ride the cable car or hike up then walk along the wall through its densely spaced watchtowers. Both sides of the wall have notched parapets so that soldiers could fire arrows at enemy at both sides. This is very rare on other sections of wall. Slide down the wall on the fun toboggan then at noon, we will have a refreshing Chinese-style lunch.

In the afternoon, after about a 30 minutes’ drive, we arrive at the colorful Oriental Provence Lavender Manor built in 2009. Covering an area of 3500 acres, it is the largest single lavender manor in North China. Provence lavender is mainly divided into 3 species: primary lavender, long spike lavender and mixed lavender (like most lavender planted in Provence). What a wonderful view of the sea of flowers complex! You can imagine the grand view, while walking in the manor with family, friends and lovers, accompanied by the sweet scent of flowers under the sunshine. The tour will then wind up with hotel transfer.
