Eight Nights Nine Days Indepth Private Tour to Yunnan

You will be picked up from the airport. Visit 1200-year-old Yuantong Temple afterward, you'll be given a pair of candles and a set of 3 joss sticks, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, hear the monks chanting here. Later, check in hotel and take a relaxing rest.

Meet your private guide and driver at the hotel lobby at around 9 am. After 1.5 to 2 hours, you will see the Stone Forest. Appreciate numerous stone peaks with various sizes and shapes. Hence it is the reason that this magnificent scene has earned its name as the "First Wonder Under Heaven".

After lunch, depart for Yiliang county to visit the famous Jiuxiang Cave. You will step into the Jiuxiang Cave by elevator to see the 52-meter depth cave for exploring the magnificent underground world. Then take the cable car back to its entrance. The tour ends by transferring back to your hotel.

Departure at 9 am, the first stop is West Hill, take the cable car, you can have a panoramic view at 400 square-kilometer Dianchi Lake and the whole city of Kunming.

After lunch, you will tour around Kunming's symbol building-Jinma Biji Archway and the vibrant Flower and Bird Market, take a leisurely walk along Nanping Street. Through this short excursion tour, it offers you a very good impression of city Kunming. Return to hotel.

Picked up at 9am, after 3-hour driving, you will arrive at Yigu Town which has a history of over 2100 years. Then you will be continuously driven to Dali. Today you will have a late lunch at around 16:00, but there are many stops for resting, you can buy some snacks. After lunch, will reside in Dali Landscape Hotel, and tour around Dali ancient city.

Pick up at 9am, visit “the three pagodas”, take outside photos of the three pagodas.

Go to Xizhou Town, exchange horse cabin for touring villages and Erhai Lake. Visit Bai residence, enjoy your lunch of local cheese of ethnic Bai.

After that, it will take 1.5 hours for you to arrive at Shaxi Old Town with a history of over 1500 years. The weekly market along the main streets are full of interesting stalls where the local people shop. Mushrooms, cheese, breads, household items, and bees/hornets!

Picked up at 9am from hotel, fist stop at “Tiger Leaping Gorge” which is one of the deepest valley in the world, take a moment to enjoy the magnificent gorge view and rolling waves. After lunch, you will continuously be taken to Shangri-la.

After breakfast at 9am, you will be driven to Songzanlin Lamasery which is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan Province, experience unique religious atmophere here.

After lunch, you will visit Napahai Lake, which is capped with deep snow during winter and spring. Walk around and take some beautiful pictures. Visiting Tibetan village, it will take around 3.5 hours for you to return Lijiang

After 9am breakfast, visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain which is one part of the south Himalayas, you will visit YunShanPing by 5-minutes cable car after 15 minutes shuttle bus, the area has an altitude of 3300 meters above sea level. View the stunning landscape of Dragon Snow Mountain and its surrounding scenery capped with thick snow. After that, visit the white water river and the blue moon valley.

Then visit Baisha Village where is the cradle for Naxi culture. You will have your lunch for tasting local Naxi BBQ and enjoy the life of Naxi, appreciate the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings, this a great invaluable painting, which is a combination of Tibetan Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism.

After breakfast, drive to Black Dragon Pool served as water source of ancient Lijiang city. If the weather is good, you can also have a look at the reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the picture once was served as the Ad picture of Chinese tourism. After that, send you to Lijiang airport.
