    First off, weather permitting, ride the exhilarating Table Mountain cable car. Leisurely relish the panoramic views over the Mother City, flanked by the sweeping Atlantic Seaboard where Robben Island lies in Table Bay harbour.

    A short drive takes us to the start of a memorable walking tour. We linger in the historic Malay quarter lined with colourful picturesque houses, where the Dutch first settled in 1652. Sample culinary delights and discover the city’s ancient Muslim traditions.

    20 minutes

    Stop at Afrogem Jewellery and enjoy a factory tour. Learn how the exquisite African jewellery is manufactured and get an opportunity to walk the showroom floor to see some of these semi precious and precious gems on display. Please note: Guests are under no obligation to make any purchase.

    The Castle of Good Hope is a bastion fort built in the 17th century in Cape Town, South Africa. Originally located on the coastline of Table Bay, following land reclamation the fort is now located inland.

    We enjoy a photo stop at this Edwardian building constructed from honey limestone. Here stands a bronze statue of Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela gave a speech from the balcony of City Hall immediately upon his release from prison. This was his first public address in 27 years, during which he spoke about his commitment to democracy, peace and reconciliation.

    Our drive takes us to Constantia valley to explore some of the oldest wineries in the region. Groot Constantia, the oldest wine farm in the Southern Hemisphere. Groot Constantia wines are from rich African soil, crafted to perfection for over 300 years. The breath taking tranquil scenery, memories part of literature and heritage that embodies the timeless endeavour to perfection. Guests enjoy a wine cellar tour and indulge in a wine tasting of some of these award wining wines. With a possibility of some chocolate and wine pairing if you may.

    1 hour 30 minutes

    We take a scenic coastal drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Passing through Hout Bay, Llundadno, Camps Bay and Clifton. We stop at Maiden’s Cove for a photo opportunity with the backdrop of the 12 Apostles mountain range and Camps Bay white sand beaches.
