The Old Spanish Bridge that spans the White River was reportedly built in the 17th century before Jamaica became a British territory. It is one of the lasting indicators of Spanish colonization in the White River Valley. This hidden gem, which is complete with the captivating White River flowing beneath, is located roughly 45 minutes from Ocho Rios The historic bridge is set against the backdrop of undergrowth surrounding the aquamarine White River, which placidly pools before continuing its route downhill. On any given day, it can be the ideal place to unwind. There are activities such as diving, tubing, swimming, and fishing. One of the attractions at the bridge is the rope-swinging activity.

The Blue Hole, located in Jamaica’s White River Valley which hugs the borders of beautiful parish St. Mary and the garden parish St. Ann, Ocho Rios. A true hidden gem and a piece of paradise, sits perfectly in the rain forest mountains amongst lush greenery and exotic flowers. Located just 20 minute drive away from the cruise pier in Ocho Rios Jamaica. The Ocho Rios Blue Hole also known as “Island Gully Falls”, “Secret Falls” and “Irie Blue Hole” is undoubtedly one of Jamaica’s hidden treasures complimented by its beauty and serenity. The gorgeous icy blue waters of the river wind through jamaica’s hills, forests and villages along their path to the Caribbean Sea. The Blue Hole creates cascades of waterfalls approximately 20 to 25 feet deep and is a great excursion spot for swimmers, divers and thrill seekers. For the more adventurous , swing from a Tarzan-type rope into the pools, hike along the stream to other falls and pools.
