Tianzi Mountain is a highlight of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and a core part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Named after a historic local Tujia peasant uprising leader, it features vast plateau viewing platforms overlooking countless slender quartz sandstone peaks piercing the cloud sea. After admiring endless pillar landscapes on the mountaintop, we will take the Tianzi Mountain Cable Car downhill for stunning bird’s-eye canyon views.

Nestled in Wulingyuan, Ten-Mile Gallery features a narrow valley dotted with fantastic sandstone peaks shaped like humans and animals, a gorgeous natural landscape painting. Meanwhile, the one-way sightseeing train is included. The ride lasts around 10 minutes with scenic introductions.

Furong Town, formerly Wangcun, is a time-honored Tujia ancient town in Xiangxi, Hunan, famed as the town hanging over a grand waterfall. Nestled right on steep cliffs, rows of classic Tujia stilt houses overlook the 60-meter-high waterfall rushing through the town center. Meanwhile, flagstone old streets wind past local snack stalls and century-old shops. Besides, it rose to fame thanks to the classic Chinese movie Hibiscus Town shot here. Therefore, visitors wander ancient lanes to taste local specialties and admire the unique combination of natural falls and ethnic folk architecture.

Fenghuang(or Phoenix) Ancient Town is a time-honored riverside ancient settlement beside Tuojiang River. Admire characteristic stilt houses, ancient stone bridges and folk alleys full of Miao & Tujia customs. Don’t miss peaceful river boating and spectacular lantern-lit night scenery after sunset.

Tianmen Mountain, also called Heaven’s Gate Mountain, features the gigantic natural Tianmen Cave and thrilling cliff glass walkways. It delivers spectacular natural wonders plus exciting cliff adventures close to Zhangjiajie downtown.
