After your arrival in Beijing Airport, you will see your tour guide and driver outside the baggage claim area. Afterwards, you will be escorted to your hotel to check-in. Hotel: booked on your own - within downtown area

This morning, you will visit Tiananmen Square and see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.

From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.

First you will head to visit the Lama Temple, also known as the Yonghe Lamasery, which is the largest and best-preserved Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing.

Then, you will see the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.

This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included so that you can save more time on the wall. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.

In the afternoon, on the way back you will pass by the Olympic National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center. You can appreciate its magnificent appearance from a distance.

Then a trip to the old Hutongs will round off the day. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture.

After visiting the panda house, you will be taken to the Summer Palace, which is the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.

Your sightseeing trip will come to the end here. Your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
