Arrive in Chongqing and begin your Yangtze River journey with embarkation on your cruise ship. Guests arriving at Chongqing Airport or major railway stations during the designated transfer period may use the complimentary scheduled transfer service to the port. After boarding, settle into your comfortable stateroom, take time to explore the ship, and attend the cruise safety briefing. In the evening, enjoy a welcome buffet dinner as the ship departs Chongqing and begins sailing downstream along the Yangtze River. Complimentary Transfer Service: Guests arriving at Chongqing Airport or major railway stations between 09:00 and 15:00 will be transferred to Raffles City Chongqing. Guests arriving between 15:00 and 20:00 will be transferred directly to Chongqing Port for embarkation. Please note that airport transfer service closes one hour earlier than the stated arrival cut-off time. Recommended arrival schedule: please book trains and flights arriving before 14:00.

After breakfast, choose one of two included morning excursions. Option A: White Crane Ridge Underwater Museum Visit a fascinating underwater museum that preserves ancient stone inscriptions once used to record the Yangtze’s seasonal water levels. On selected regular 2026 departures, the excursion also includes the Fuling Zhacai History Memory Hall, introducing Fuling’s century-old pickled vegetable heritage. Option B: 816 Underground Project Explore a remarkable underground complex built inside a mountain during the 1960s, offering insight into a unique chapter of modern Chinese history. Important Note: If docking conditions require adjustment due to weather or navigation restrictions, the excursion may be replaced with a visit to Fengdu Ghost City.

After the excursion, return to the ship for lunch and enjoy the onboard atmosphere as you continue cruising through the heart of the Yangtze region. Cultural activities and leisure time onboard provide a relaxing balance to the day’s sightseeing. Before dinner, join the Captain’s Welcome Reception. In the evening, enjoy the large-scale live performance War Fire of the Three Kingdoms, adding an entertaining cultural touch to your cruise experience. Note: If the show is canceled, it will be replaced by a small-boat excursion to Wushan Goddess Stream the following afternoon.

Today combines one of the cruise’s most memorable excursions with the classic scenery of the Three Gorges. In the morning, choose between: Option A: White Emperor City Visit this historic site near the entrance to Qutang Gorge, celebrated for its literary heritage, historical associations, and panoramic river views. Option B: Three Gorges Summit Head to one of the best viewpoints in the region for sweeping views over the dramatic cliffs and winding waters of Qutang Gorge.

Back on board, spend the afternoon enjoying one of the highlights of the entire journey: scenic cruising through the Three Gorges. Sail through Qutang Gorge, known for its steep cliffs and narrow passage, then continue into the elegant and misty Wu Gorge. Later, cruise through the western section of Xiling Gorge, known for its rugged canyon scenery. In the evening, relax onboard and enjoy the lively Crew Cabaret Show.

On your final morning, cruise into the Three Gorges Dam area, home to one of the world’s most ambitious hydropower projects. Subject to operational conditions, the ship may pass through the impressive Three Gorges Ship Elevator, a remarkable engineering system that raises vessels vertically across the dam. Important Notes: 1.Today’s itinerary does not include any onshore visits inside the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area, such as Tanziling Park or the River Closure Memorial Park. 2.Today’s sightseeing program is complimentary and subject to operational conditions. If the Three Gorges Ship Elevator is unavailable due to weather or other operational reasons, an alternative sightseeing program will be arranged based on local conditions. If the complimentary program cannot be provided, no refund will apply. 3.On selected 2026 departures operating through early December, the sightseeing vessel will also pass through the Gezhou Dam Ship Lock.

Afterward, continue sailing through the eastern section of Xiling Gorge before arriving at the Three Gorges Tourist Center in Yichang. Disembark at the Three Gorges Tourist Center at approximately 14:00. A complimentary transfer will then be provided to Yichang Sanxia Airport, Yichang East Railway Station, or Yichang Railway Station. Complimentary transfer service to Yichang Sanxia Airport, Yichang East Railway Station, or Yichang Railway Station will be arranged after disembarkation, with departures available at approximately 14:00. Important Note: Please schedule onward trains after 16:00 and flights after 17:30 to allow sufficient time for disembarkation and transfers.
