3-Day Private Dali Tour

Upon your flight landing/train arrival, your local driver will wait you by holding a welcome board with your name and transfer to your Dali hotel.

If you reach early, your guide will help you start this 3 days Yunnan tour to Dali with a leisurely stroll in Dali Ancient City. You will find out some historic sites in the town, such as the ancient city wall, Foreigners Street, Gate Towers and some old churches. At night, you can hang out by yourself at the bar street to experience the laid-back night life.

At 09:00, you will be picked up by your driver and guide from the lobby of your hotel inDali downtown. Then, you will be driven from Dali hotel to Cangshan Mountain.

The Cangshan Mountain,an awe-inspiring natural stunner of Dali. Round-trip cable car is arranged for an easier ascending and descending. Off from the cable ride, you will launch a 40-minute trekking journey along the plank walkway to soak up the breathtaking landscape of the snow-capped peaks and lush forest. During the hiking, you may capture amazing bird's eye view of the Erhai Lake and Dali Old Town.

After getting down from the mountain, you will be treated with a hearty lunch to taste the genuine Yunnan cuisine. Then we will proceed to the Chongsheng Temple to wonder at the Three Pagodas. Widely regarded as the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas enjoy a far-reaching history that could be dated back to 1,800 years ago in Nanzhao Kingdom.

Next up, take a car for a scenic tour of Erhai Lake, and discover the untouched rural scenery at a delightful pace, you can visit the local villages and enjoying the lake view.

At the end, you will be driven back to the hotel for a good rest.

After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, and then transfer you to Xizhou for a safari tour at a lively morning market.

This morning market can enables you to experience the authentic local life of Bai people in rural areas. Women dressed in their colorful traditional attires with bamboo basket on their backs come to the market doing small vendor businesses, such as vegetables, meats, craftworks, hand-made cloths, etc.

Then you will head for Zhoucheng, the hometown of Chinese tie-dying. You get a chance to venture into a workshop to experience the hands-on learning class of tie-dying from a sophisticated craftsman. The tie-dying cloth finished on your own could be brought home as a souvenir.

Afterwards, your guide will lead you to the Yan's Compound, one of the best representatives of Bai-styled folk residence. Strolling in the quaint courtyard, you could savor the exquisite architecture art by a glimpse of the wood carvings and sculptures at close distance.

At the end,your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or railway station according to the schedule of your departure flight or train.
