Private 8-hour tour of Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto

Syracuse, the most important Greek colony in Sicily. Once there, we will stop for 90 minutes to admire the monuments of the ancient Mediterranean in the Neapolis Archaeological Park. The Park, now a protected oasis, is immersed in a natural setting with monuments unique in the world: The Ancient Theater - The Ear of Dionysius - The Ropemen's Cave - The Roman Amphitheater - The Altar of Hieron II - The Latomia of Paradise.

The island of Ortigia. We will visit the historic market, with its scents and colors, the Temple of Apollo, the Diana Fountain, the Duomo or 'Metropolitan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Holy Mary'" and the Church of S. Lucia. Then we will walk through the alleys until we reach Fonte Aretusea, a body of water within which the ancient "Ciperus Papirus" plant grows.

Noto, UNESCO world heritage site, undisputed home of the Baroque. There we will admire the imposing Palace of the Franciscan Friars, that of the Benedictine Friars, the Cathedral of S. Nicola, the Palazzo Ducezio and the great example of Sicilian Baroque: Palazzo Nicolaci.
