Pick up at accommodation in Cape Town and travel to the Garden Route of South Africa. This is one of the most scenic routes in the world with access to numerous fun-filled adventurous activities. We will travel along the N2 national road for approximately 5-hours passing through scenic towns like Swellendam and Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay is where we will smell the Indian Ocean for the first time.

Take time out on the water and drift around in a canoe on one of the Garden Route lakes at Wilderness (Kaaimans or Touws river). There are 5 lakes of different sizes, separated from the sea by fynbos-covered dunes, running parallel to the park’s beautiful coastline. Marvel at the beauty of nature and birdlife like cormorants, herons, egrets, bitterns, frogs, and fish, while paddling along the river.

After our wonderful canoe in the Wilderness we continue to the town of Sedgefield for overnight. A beautiful seaside village, Sedgefield is surrounded by lakes and sand dunes covered in fynbos (fine bush). Being surrounded by water, green and golden-hued hills and sparkly blue waters makes you feel like you have reached paradise. Take an evening walk on the beach and feel the cool white sand between your toes. After check-in at our accommodation, dinner is recommended at one of the many restaurants and eateries in the area.

Pick up at accommodation after breakfast and check out as we set off on a fun-filled day of adventures. From exploring the magnificent Knysna Heads with spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon, Forest and Ocean, to Ziplining and Bungy Jumping off the world's highest commercial bridge called the Bloukrans Bridge. Then, take a hike in the Tsitsikamma National Park to the 900M suspension bridge, surrounded by lush forests and a gushing river gorge. Thrill-seekers will be compelled to take a walk on the suspension bridge with the river gorge beneath them.

From Knysna, we take a scenic drive to the Bloukrans Bridge via the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay is known as the Jewel of the Garden Route and it is little wonder why it is often referred to as the playground of the rich and famous. Arriving at the Bloukrans Bridge, you will have the choice between bungy jumping, ziplining over waterfalls or exploring the surrounding forest. For thrill-seekers, the bungy jumping experience comes highly recommended for your adrenaline fix. Begin your adventure with a zip line from the bank to the arch underneath the colossal bridge. Then it is time to take the Bungy leap of 216M face down, off Africa's highest bridge.

After this thrilling adventure, we will Zipline over the scenic waterfalls of the Tsitsikamma Forest. There are 8 slides - the longest is 211m - zigzag across the river gorge as high as 50m above the water in some places. The zip line presents an opportunity to see beautiful views of the indigenous Tsitsikamma fauna and flora.

Take a hike in the scenic Tsitsikamma National Park and marvel at the serene wonders of nature amongst spectacular green natural forests and river gorges. After 900M you will reach the Storms River suspension bridge, where you can take a walk on the hanging bridge with the Storms River Mouth beneath you. (Entrance into the National Park is included.)

We take a 1-hour, 30-minutes drive to the coastal town of Jeffreys Bay, where surfers from all over the world come to ride some of the highest waves with many different magical surf breaks. This is where we will overnight and enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants and eateries.

We depart Jeffreys Bay early morning for an adventurous day of rich wildlife and chance encounters with the Big Five animals, in particular, the Elephants, as we set off for Addo Elephant National Park. Enjoy a drive-through safari in our tour minibus, led by our experienced guide and look out for the Big Five and other animals.

We will then join an open 4x4 Safari Game Truck for a 3-hour safari game drive. Look out for elephants, lions, buffalos, black rhinos, hyenas, leopards, zebras, and antelopes. (Entrance fee to 4x4 game drive is excluded.)

After our 3-hour game drive, we return to Jeffreys Bay for a leisurely afternoon and overnight. If you are a keen surfer, why not go down to the beach as Jeffreys Bay has some of the highest surf breaks in the world. Dinner can be enjoyed at the many restaurants and eateries nearby.

After breakfast and check out we travel to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo via the Langkloof Mountains, leaving the Indian Ocean behind us. Oudtshoorn is known as the Ostrich Capital of South Africa but is also home to the Cango Caves. The Cango Caves is situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains. This is where you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. The Cango Caves offers 2 options: the Heritage Tour where you will gain insight into the formation and dripstone evolution, or the Adventure Tour which allows you to squeeze, twist and wiggle your way through limestone chimneys on underground.

Oudtshoorn is the Ostrich Capital of South Africa and it is little wonder why you will see markets and informal sellers with ostrich feathered and leather goods on every corner in this Klein Karoo town. Our experience at the Ostrich Farm will allow you to experience the world's largest bird with feeding encounters. (We regret that ostrich riding is no longer allowed.)

Remaining in the Klein Karoo, we travel to Buffelsdrift Game Reserve in the afternoon for a 4x4 Safari Game Drive. On the Bush Safari, you can experience true Karoo vegetation from our open game viewing vehicles. Their wide range of animals includes Hippo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok and much more.

After our Bush Safari, we will travel back to the town of Oudtshoorn where we will check into our accommodation and dinner options will be available at the nearby restaurants or eateries. Bear in mind that this is the best town to enjoy Karoo lamb or local ostrich.

Pick up at accommodation in Oudtshoorn for an early morning Elephant encounter at Buffelsdrift Game Reserve. Take a leisurely stroll with the elephants in the early morning and take in some of our Karoo beauty whilst walking with the biggest land mammals on earth. Meet our resident Elephants, Malaika, Jabari, and Bulelo. These precious giants were rescued after their parents were poached in the North of South Africa. Please note that this is an optional activity. Please advise upon making your booking whether you would like to take up this option.

Departing the Klein Karoo we make our way to Cape Town via Route 62. Route 62 is known as the longest wine route in the western cape, and we will make a stop for a wine tasting at Boplaas Family Vineyards of their Cape ‘Port’-styled wines.

At the end of our tour, we will return to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation between 18:00 and 19:00pm.
