Pick up at accommodation in Cape Town and travel to the Garden Route of South Africa. This is one of the most scenic routes in the world with access to numerous fun-filled adventurous activities. We will travel along the N2 national road for approximately 5-hours passing through scenic towns like Swellendam and Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay is where we will smell the Indian Ocean for the first time.

A beautiful seaside village, Sedgefield is surrounded by lakes and sand dunes covered in fynbos (fine bush). Being surrounded by water, green and golden-hued hills and sparkly blue waters makes you feel like you have reached paradise. Take an evening walk on the beach and feel the cool white sand between your toes. After check-in at our accommodation, dinner is recommended at one of the many restaurants and eateries in the area.

Then, take a hike in the Tsitsikamma National Park to the 900M suspension bridge, surrounded by lush forests and a gushing river gorge. After breakfast and check out we travel to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo via the Langkloof Mountains, leaving the Indian Ocean behind us. Oudtshoorn is known as the Ostrich Capital of South Africa but is also home to the Cango Caves. The Cango Caves is situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains. This is where you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. The Cango Caves offers 2 options: the Heritage Tour where you will gain insight into the formation and dripstone evolution, or the Adventure Tour which allows you to squeeze, twist and wiggle your way through limestone chimneys on underground.

Pick up at accommodation in Oudtshoorn for an early morning Elephant encounter at Buffelsdrift Game Reserve. Take a leisurely stroll with the elephants in the early morning and take in some of our Karoo beauty whilst walking with the biggest land mammals on earth. Meet our resident Elephants, Malaika, Jabari, and Bulelo. These precious giants were rescued after their parents were poached in the North of South Africa. Please note that this is an optional activity. Please advise upon making your booking whether you would like to take up this option.
