In autumn, the park’s kochia (summer cypress) turn a vivid red, their fluffy, rounded shape making them especially adorable. The park also serves as the venue for the Lake Kawaguchi Herb Festival.

Set up your tripod on the opposite side of the street, switch to portrait mode, patiently wait for the crowd to thin out, and quickly snap the shot! Although the photo turns out beautifully, you'll need to cross the street — so please stay safe!
