Choose one activity for the morning (approximately 08.30-11.30) and one for the afternoon (approximately 14.00-17.00) You may choose to have dinner at the hotel, otherwise there are numerous restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance.

0730 Depart Bali Bintang Hotel to arrive at Rafting start points by 0930 Rafting Ayung River (Grade 2-3 grade rapids) OR Telaga Waja river (Grade 3-4 rapids) Note: the lower number or grade, the easier the rapids. Both rivers have some exciting sections for those who have not rafted much (or at all). You can choose between the easier Ayung river or the more challenging Telaga Waja river. Lunch is included with your rafting.

12.30-13.00 Drive to Villa Jempana with stop on a crater rim to view the unforgettable Mt & Lake Batur The drive time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Ayung river and from Tela Waja. 14.30 Arrive Villa Jempana 16.00-17.30 ATV/Quad bike – Tandem (one parent and one child per bike) – exploring the trails and lower slopes of Mt Batur Dinner Villa Jempana

0700 Hike Mt Batur Note: if you want to see the sunrise, you will need to be hiking by about 5.30am. It’s up to you whether you want to do the very early hike or a little later which can be just as good and less crowded at the summit with all the sunrise hikers already going back down) 10.00-11.00 Brunch at Villa Jempana (included)

11.30: Drive to Munduk (taking scenic northern route through mountains) Arrive at Lesong Hotel by 14.30 Optional rice fields walk or local cycle on your own before sunset Dinner Lesong Hotel

Morning Choose between Canyoning or one of the activities listed below. Canyoning incurs an additional charge of $50/person. Please see exclusions information If wishing to select the Canyoning option, please purchase at checkout We highly recommend the Canyoning experience however be aware that most children would need to be at least 10 years old & they’d need to be very adventurous & unafraid of heights to be able to do this. If you have young children and are interested in Canyoning, please talk with us so we can jointly have a discussion with Canyoning Bali to come up with the best plan for your family. Note: Canyoning Bali is a 50 minute drive from Lesong Hotel. If Canyoning you will need to depart Lesong Hotel by 07.00 If not Canyoning, choose between Cycling and Hiking in the Munduk Valley (operated by the Lesong Hotel)

Afternoon: drive to Pemuteran arriving Taman Sari Resort by approximately 14.00 Snorkeling/Swimming: Front of hotel Dinner at: La Casa Kita Restaurant

Morning: Snorkeling Menjangan Island, one of the best dive sites in Bali with spectacular reefs and lots of interesting marine life. A boat will transfer you to the island.

Late Afternoon: Hike the beautiful hills behind Pemuteran with gorgeous views of the mountains and over the north coast of Bali (approximately one hour) Dinner: your choice of hotel or a local restaurant

If you can’t get enough of snorkeling then we can arrange further snorkeling trips for the morning nearby, otherwise you may like to do a brief snorkel in front of the hotel and to choose another activity option for the morning: You can choose between: Cycling, Hiking, Fishing Hiking: West Bali Adventures will take you hiking in West Bali National Park, starting at 07.00 – hike time 2.5-3 hours Cycling: West Bali Adventures bike tour starts a 0900 and takes about 3.5 hours. The tour travels through local villages with a focus on agricultural tourism including salt lake from the lake, Arak (local clear liquor) , Peanuts and Coconuts. Fishing: we have a fishing guide who will take you in the traditional Jukung (local fishing boat) - see photos in gallery Note: the Jukung has both engine & sail Lunch at Suma Restaurant in the hills with ocean views

Depart Pemuteran 14.00 for Batu Karu Coffee Estate Jatiluwih Arrive by 16.30 Dinner at Batu Karu Coffee Estate

After breakfast you will do the Jatiluwih Terraced Rice Fields walk – this is a UNESCO world heritage site – several trail options available from 1.5km to 5.5km. Then if your family is feeling up to it, we finish with a 30km Mt bike ride from Jatiluwih to Tabanan or a 50km option to Canggu. Level of ride: intermediate. If Mt Bike riding we could drop you anywhere from Canggu, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Nusa Dua or Sanur as required (if outside these areas you will need to discuss with us)

If you don’t want to Mt Bike ride, we can head back the Kuta area via Sanur where your family can spend the afternoon at the beach sailing a Catamaran & Sea Kayaking or taking a Kite Surfing lesson or a Surf lesson. Also included would be exploring the Sanur foreshore by bike and lunch at one of the Sanur beachfront cafes Your Active Family break will finish up in the Kuta area around 17.00
