Reach the top of the most beautiful and scenic route of Romania Please note that between the period of June-October Transfagarasan Road is open. If the Transfagarasan Road is closed the alternative route of Olt Valley River Road will be used.

Your first stop will be at one of the most important monasteries of the area, Barsana monastery that offers an insight of the local culture with wood carventing skills. Head for the Wood Carventer, one of the few craftsmen of the area that will offer an idea of how wood carventing is done in Maramures.

Reach in Gura Humorului and first see the Voronet Monastery. This is one of the most famous monasteries of the area as it was built by the famous ruler of Moldova region known as Stephan the Great. During his period he has manage to build over 300 monasteries most of them situated in the region of Bucovina.

Start fresh in the morning after breakfast and head for your next destination Sighisoara which situated in the central part of Transylvania. On the way you will pass through Bicaz Gorge and reach the Red Lake where you can have lunch ( own expense).

In the afternoon you will reach Brasov where you will explore this fairytale town. Our guide will let you through the history of this place as you are going to explore the Catherine’s Gates a former entrance of the city.

In the morning you will head for Bran castle aka Dracula’s castle in order to discover this medieval castle. Tour the inside and at the end if you wish you can enjoy free time in the market in front.
