2-Day Beijing Group Tour Including 2 Sections of Great Wall and Ming Tomb

After hotel pickup in Beijing by your guide in an air-conditioned vehicle (only hotels within the second ring road of the downtown area are included) around 7:00 am in the morning, your day tour starts with the drive to the Ming Tomb, a series of mausoleums built by China's Ming dynasty emperors.

When you arrive, you have time to look around, and then visit a local restaurant for lunch. You also have the chance to learn the culture of jade at a local Jade gallery. After Chinese lunch, head to your second destination, the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Enjoy views of the countryside as you pass through a village, and then head up the mountain via cable car (At your own extra expense). Enjoy time to walk on the wall and take photos before starting the trip back to Beijing, stopping on the way for a short traditional tea ceremony at Chinese tea house. Your bus group tour ends with the hotel drop-off in the central city.

From your hotel in downtown Beijing at approximately 7:00 am within 2nd ring road of Beijing downtown area, begin your 3-hour hike on the eastern section of the wall with plenty of photo opportunities of the surrounding foliage, architecture, and towers along the way. Be surrounded by ancient architecture to marvel at the along this 5km hike. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking sights along the parapets on this relatively less crowded section of the wall with room to stop and admire the views. This section of the Great Wall offers a look at each unique tower along the way, ensuring there is always something new to discover. After the included lunch, your adventure will conclude and you will be transferred back to your downtown Beijing Hotel.
