With magnificent mountain ranges, deep valleys, mysterious caves, lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls and mist-shrouded stone pillars, Hunan's Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a wonderland of natural beauty. Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area , lying to the north of Zhangjiajie City, is a charming tourist attraction. It is one of the 40 famous scenic spots in China. It is said to be 'The ampliative miniascape and the contractible fairyland' and was admitted to the 'World Heritage List' in 1992. The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area boasts of natural beauty where mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls exist in total harmony. Over 560 attraction sights can be found here. The strangely-shaped peaks, the absurd stones, the hidden valleys, the wonderful waters and the limestone caves form the 'Five Wonders' of Wulingyuan and they are really worth seeing. Covering an area of 690 square kilometers (266 square miles), Wulingyuan Scenic Area consists of four parts- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area. Today our tour will visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve area.

When we purchase the main park entrance tickets and we will take a shuttle bus(20 mins driving) to the Tianzi mountain cable station and need to walk up the 200 steps to reach the station.

After the 20 mins cable car ride, we will reach the top of the Tianzi mountain then we will take a shuttle bus again(5 mins driving) to the Tianzi Mountain central area which is provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

It is the highlighted scenic spots in Yangjiajie. One plateform and three gates must pb passed before reaching the top of the stockaded village. There are three peaks of the top of the village, where scenery far and near can be seen. This stockaded village is in a strategic position that is easy to defend and difficult to conquer, and has been the place where bandits have been entrenched.

Located in Yangjiajie Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie Tianbofu Scenic Reserve is both a magnificent and charming scenic reserve with many steep and angular cliffs. The fantastic scenes are hidden among the stone mountains and cliffs. Taking a visit here by walking on the stone path along the steep cliffs is both an exciting and adventurous experience.

After the Yuanjiajie(Avatar mountain), we will take a shuttle(15 mins driving) head to the Bailong Elevator. Bailong Elevator is very magnificent. The total height of it is 335 meters (1099 feet), of which the running height is 326 meters (1069 feet). 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is in the mountain wells and the rest of 172 meters (564 feet) was composed of steel derrick and other components. The Elevator includes three exposure sightseeing elevators running parallelly. Each elevator can take 50 passengers every time and the speed is 3 m / s (the speed has been accelerated to 5m / s since 2013). If the three elevators run simultaneously, the amount of one-way passengers will reach 4,000 per hour.

Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates). We will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel.

After the National park, we will head to the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge area, but we just see the bridge, there is no time for us to visit the Grand canyon. Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, aka Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon skywalk, is the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, hanging over Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Looking from a distance, it looks like a piece of white silk floating between the clouds and fog, hence it is also called Yuntiandu, meaning “a way of clouds to the sky”. Standing on it, if dare to, you can have a bird’s eye view of the Grand Canyon.

After the Tianmen mountain, we will bring you to Huangshi village which is located in Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie, is one of the top 5 highlight travel itineraries of China. It is said that during the Han Dunasty, Zhang Liang (a politician) quitted from the political field and started his round tour. When he came to this area, he was blocked by officials. And finally, his teacher named Huang Shi Gong helped him to ran away. From then on, this place was called Huangshi Village.

Today, we will transfer to Fenghuang from Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan and on route, we will stop at Hibiscus old town. The Hibiscus old town is located in Yongshun County in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of western Hunan Province, Furong Ancient Town (or Hibiscus Ancient Town) is originally known as Wangcun Village. It is where the famous movie Hibiscus Town was filmed, so it changed its name to Furong Town (Furong means Hibiscus in Chinese phonetic alphabet.) After the movie "Furong Town" was done in this place. Furong ancient town consists of a group of mixed people, ethnic group of Tujia and Miao mixed with Han people. Tujia people account for more than 80% of the total population.

When we reach the Fenghuang, you will check in the Fenghuang hotel first and then our guide will show to visit the Fenghuang old town. Fenghuang Ancient Town situated in Hunan province,is one of the most famous old towns in China. You can appreciate the antique flavor of this 300-year old town, feel the rich culture of the 28 minority ethnic groups, and explore the remaining traces of the famous historical figures and great writers.

Today, we will transfer to Tongren Mount Fanjing,3.5hrs driving, 207KM.The Fanjingshan or Mount Fanjing, located in Tongren, Guizhou province, is the highest peak of the Wuling Mountains in southwestern China, at an elevation of 2,570 m. The Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve was established in 1978 and designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1986.

After visit the Fanjing mountain, your guide will escort you to your Jiangkou hotel.

Today, we will transfer to the Longji Rice Terraces area and need 6hrs driving from Fanjing Mountain, 457KM. The Longji Rice Terraces, literally Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, gains its name because the rice terraces resemble a dragon’s scales and the mountain range looks like the backbone of a dragon. It is reputed as one of the most beautiful rice terraces in the world. It is located in Longsheng County, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Guilin and 140 kilometers (90 miles) from Yangshuo. The construction of incredible Longji Rice Terraces started in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) and lasted till the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Now, the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces covers an area of 66 square kilometers (about 16,308 acres) and spans an altitude between 300 meters (about 984 feet) and 1,100 meters (about 3,608 feet). Among them, two main and representative viewing areas are the Ping’an Zhuang Village Terraced Fields and the Jinkeng Terraced Fields where Zhuang and Yao Minority people have been living respectively for hundreds of years. In addition to appreciate the rice terraces, visitors can learn some unique customs in Longsheng rice terraces scenic area.

After the visit the Longji Rice Terraces, we will check in the hotel at Ping'an village or Dazhai village and stay overnight there

Today will be the long today, since the Ziyuan county may don't have a good hotels, so, after the Baijiaozhai mountain tour, we will head to Guilin city which is need other 2hrs driving again or we can stay at Ziyuan if you can find the hotel at Ziyuan. Ziyuan Bajiaozhai, also named Yuntai Mountain and Lang Mountain in Hunan province, is located in Ziyuan County at the southwest part of Guilin City, the border between Hunan and Guangxi Province. It is about 98 km from Guilin downtown, covering an area of 125 hectares. It belongs to humid subtropical monsoon climate zone. As the terrain here is high and complex, it also has characters of mountain climate. Bajiaozhai is a typical Danxia landform. It is located at strips of red bed basin consisted by conglomerate and sandstone of Cretaceous. The basin extending from Ziyuan County in Guangxi Province to Xinning County in Hunan Province. 140 million years ago, in Early Cretaceous there had already sedimented the 2,000 meters thick layer of calcareous purple conglomerate, conglomerate, red mudstone layers. The northeast part of the scenic area, the red layer is as thick as 1783.64 m, and 2189.07 m at the south part. The elevation of main peak in Bajiaozhai is 814 meters, with relative height of 500 meters.

Today is the relaxing day, we just visit the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant hill park and can start the tour at 10am. we will visit the Guilin Reed Flute Cave. The Reed Flute Cave, also known as "the Palace of Natural Arts” is a landmark and tourist attraction in Guilin. It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin's most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. It is over 180 million years old.

After the cave, we will driving to the Elephant hill and can walking around the four lakes area or can have a lunch at Zhengyang street. The Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill, also called the elephant hill, lies on the conjunction of the Li River and the peach blossom river. It is the badge of Guilin city. The whole hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. It is the masterpiece of karst landscape, composed of pure limestone deposited on seabed 360 million years ago.

After the Elephant hill park, we can go the twin pagodas and four lakes area. You can walking around the lakes or go to the Zhengyang street.

At 09:00am, our guide will meet you at Your Guilin or Yangshuo hotel then transfer to Yangshuo Xianggong hill. The Xianggong Mountain in the beginning, was merely an obscure small karst hill on the west bank of Li River in Yangshuo County of Guilin. A few years ago, a local photographer took some pictures on the top of this mountain and won the bronze prize in an international photography contest, making Xianggong Mountain famous overnight. From then on, it became a popular tourist destination beloved by enthusiastic photographers.

After the Xianggong hill, we will trasnfer to the Yangshuo Yulong river and take the bamboo boat from there. The Yulong River, with its dramatic karst landscape, silky water, and ancient bridges, is a great place for bamboo rafting. Known as 'the Little Li River', it’s a tributary of the Li.

After the bamboo boat, we can have a lunch at The West Street area. This is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

At 18:40pm, our guide will meet you at the West street area then head to the Impression Sanjie Liu Light show, you should eat the dinner before the show due to after the show, our driver will directly takes you back to the hotel and of course, we will help you to book the show tickets. Different from other shows in an enclosed space, the show - Impression of Liu Sanjie stages in the actual Li River which stretches 2 km (1.25 miles). The mist, moonlight, together with 12 Karsts peaks and their inverted reflections in the river all creates a spectacular natural backdrop. The large-scaled lights system, special smoke-effect system and the overwhelming sound system in harmony with the natural landscape presents a visual feast to audients.
