You have time to relax and enjoy lunch, thereafter dive into the pool or walk around the beautiful lodge and walking trail. We depart from the lodge at around 3:30 pm for a sunset/nocturnal safari in the Kruger National Park. The sun sets early in the winter months, which means you will have a longer night safari. In summer, you enjoy beautiful sunsets while on safari. Return to the lodge at around 8:00 pm for a lovely dinner and a good night’s rest, preparing for your full-day safari in the Kruger National Park.

All safaris start before sunrise, the best part of the day, not knowing what to expect. After a short drive, we enter the park gates. Your guide will know which areas are the best to find the wildlife, including the Big 5 and plains game. This is the finest time of the day to see predators. The lodge will arrange breakfast packs and your guide will stop after about 3 hours for breakfast, a bathroom break and a chance to get a coffee. We then continue with your safari. Kruger offers a variety of ecozones and each one has a different range of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as plains and bushveld regions. We stop for lunch at a rest camp, where this meal will be for your own account. You have time to do some curio shopping or enjoy a cold beer! The guide will then continue with the safari heading towards the lodge. We arrive back between 3:30 - 4:30 pm, with enough time to relax, swim and have a great dinner.

Today we visit God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon (world’s 3rd largest canyon), Lisbon Waterfall, the 3 Rondawels and the town of Graskop. God’s Window allows people a window from the escarpment and has a 1,300 m drop below. One can see as far as Kruger and beyond on a clear day. There is a fantastic short walk through a natural rainforest environment. Bourke's Luck Potholes are a stunning natural formation created by water erosion over hundreds of years. The Bourke’s Luck Potholes have round carvings and holes of different sizes formed in the Truer River and Blyde River confluence in the red sandstone. Your guides will brief you on all the history of the region. You can use small footbridges and walk over the chasms, looking at the water flowing through the cracks and holes. There are also several small but beautiful waterfalls in the area. We spent about 1 hour here. It’s a great walk of about 1 km in total.

At the northern end of the mighty Drakensberg Range, and standing sentry at one end of the Blyde River Canyon is the most famous - and photographed - attraction in the region, the Three Rondavels.The harder rock layers on top eroded slower than the underlying softer layers of stone, which resulted in rock formations which resemble African rondavels.

With magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls, God's Window is truly an area of breathtaking scenic splendour. It is no wonder that Mpumalanga is known as Paradise Country.

The Luck Potholes are incredible. The result of decades of swirling water where the Treur River meets the Blyde River, the result of which has caused extensive water erosion over time. The result is amazing rock sculptures that will fascinate you for hours.

There are actually more waterfalls around Sabie than anywhere else in southern Africa. Regarded as the most stunning of the lot, Mac Mac has twin falls that plunge some 90m into a gorge below.

This glass viewing elevator travels 60m down the sheer cliffs of Graskop Gorge, with views of the Big Swing opposite, to an elevated forest boardwalk, which leads 500m to a 70m-high waterfall via suspension bridges and exhibits. At the top of the shaft, a lifestyle centre with a restaurant, craft market and shops perches on the precipice. The enter fee is included. The activity is for your account.

The natural wonders of Graskop are probably the most photographed and painted scenes in the world. Situated in the magnificent Mpumalanga Province, Graskop is ideally located in the heart of the tourism region and is the gateway to the Panorama Route. Graskop is a small town found on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment and the ideal base from which to explore all the sightseeing venues in Mpumalanga including the Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest, Blyde River Canyon and so much more. It's a good lunch stop.

After a short breakfast and coffee stop, we'll continue with the safari returning to the lodge at around 11 am. Here you'll say goodbye to your guide and freshen up before the journey back to Johannesburg. Table Mountain is a New Seven Wonder of the world & UNESCO heritage site. Thereafter we explore Cape Town & visit Cape Town's historical places, like the Dutch East Indian Garden, Castle of Good Hope, South African Museum, Malay quarter, District 6 & Greenmarket square. Later in the afternoon we drive up the West Coast where the views of Table Mountain (post card), Robben Island and Table Bay are stupendous. Time for an aperitif whilst watching the sunset over the Atlantic ocean. We will have an opportunity to discover Bo-kaap, a Cape Georgian community formerly known as the Cape Malay Quarter. Bo-Kaap's endemic architectural structures ,cobbled stoned streets and brightly colored walls makes for a great photo session but it is also her 300 years old history that leaves one with a lot to savour.

Greenmarket Square is one of the liveliest hubs in Cape Town. It’s the second oldest public space in Cape Town, after the Grand Parade. There are many things to do at Greenmarket Square, from exploring the market and grabbing a bite to eat, to exploring the art and discovering the story of the historic cobbled square.

The West Coast is a nature and water-sport enthusiasts dream. From here at beach level we have great views of Table Mountain (post card), Robben Island and Table Bay. The beaches are just exquisite.

This region is a UNESCO Heritage Site due to the exceptional floral diversity of the area. We follow the west coast via Clifton, stopping at Maiden's Cove to enjoy a view of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay. Hout Bay is next, a charming little town, where we board a boat for a trip to Duiker Island, home to the world's largest fur seal colony. From here, we drive along Chapman's Peak Pass, looking at the breathtaking views. Next is the Cape of Good Hope NP, the most Westerly point on the African continent where the cold Atlantic Ocean meets the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean. The early Portuguese mariners named this famous landmark the Cape of Storms. Have a walk up to the lighthouse. Our journey then takes us to False Bay, where we can have lunch. Kalk Bay is a fantastic coastal port, famous for its fish n chips. Off to Boyes Drive which offers a great view of the surfers below, & if you like, chat with the shark spotter while he scours the bay looking out for the Great White.

Hout Bay is next, a charming little town, where we board a boat for a trip to Duiker Island, home to the world's largest fur seal colony.

Finally arriving in Hermanus stretched along a narrow ribbon of land between towering mountains and a spectacular shoreline, Sitting on the edge of Walker Bay, this small coastal town offers a bewitching array of experiences. Whales and Great White Sharks, the most diverse Floral Kingdom in the world, mountain walks and unspoilt beaches, secluded forests, crashing surf, lagoons and a hidden valley so beautiful it’s named ‘Heaven and Earth. Public art and sculptures at Gearings Point complement the artistic offerings of the many galleries that forms an art walk.

This lovely garden is situated in the centre of the coastal fynbos where the flora is at its richest. It encompasses mountain slopes with wind-clipped heathlands, deep gorges with relict forests, flats and marshes with restios, sedges and bulbs, as well as dunes adjacent to the beach with specialised salt-adapted plants. The Garden is renowned for its waterfalls and amber pools.
