Private driver only: The driver will drop you off at the Great Wall parking lot and pre-arrange all entrance tickets for you. After handing over the tickets, you can explore Mutianyu Great Wall independently without guided commentary. Driver + English-speaking guide package: Your guide will accompany you throughout the visit and deliver detailed historical introductions about Mutianyu Great Wall along the way. Following a scenic drive from Beijing, you'll reach the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu, constructed during the Ming Dynasty, is renowned for its stunning scenery, with thick forests flanking the wall. It offers a more serene and less-crowded environment compared to other parts of the Great Wall.

Upon arriving at Mutianyu, we offer two convenient uphill & downhill transport options. You can choose a round-trip cable car ride, or take the chairlift up to the Great Wall and slide down by toboggan. These options help you save time and energy to easily reach the top of the wall. If you book the guide-inclusive package, your professional guide will accompany you to explore different watchtowers and share the profound history of the Great Wall. All guests will also get free personal time to admire the stunning scenery at your own leisure. You'll have lunch at an authentic local restaurant near Mutianyu Great Wall.

After lunch, we will drive to the Ming Tombs, which serve as the burial site of 13 emperors from the Ming Dynasty. During this tour, you have the option to visit either the Dingling Tomb or the Changling Tomb.​ The Dingling Tomb is highly renowned as it was the first Ming tomb to be excavated. Here, you can witness the underground palaces filled with precious cultural relics, offering a fascinating glimpse into the opulent lifestyle and burial customs of the Ming emperors. Your guide will be by your side, sharing in - depth stories about the excavation process, the emperors buried here, and the unique architectural features of the underground chambers.​

If you select the package with an English-speaking guide, your guide will elaborate on Changling’s historical importance, tales of the emperor interred here, and the distinctive Ming imperial funeral customs embodied in the tomb’s layout. For guests booking driver-only service, you will receive pre-arranged tickets and explore the tomb independently without on-site commentary. Whichever tomb you pick: Tour with guide: Your guide will stay by your side, vividly narrating site legends, explaining Ming burial rituals and unique tomb architectural features. Driver-only tour: You may wander the relics at your own pace after receiving your entry tickets. At the end of the day, our vehicle will transfer you back to your Beijing hotel. If you booked the guide-inclusive option, both your driver and guide will escort you back.
