This stunning 3.6 km sandbar is adorned with 8,000 pine trees and surrounded by the serene Japan Sea and Amanohashidate Bay. The name “Amanohashidate” means Heaven's Bridge, and you'll see why as you take in the breathtaking landscape. Don't miss the chance to ride the cable car up Mt. Monju for a spectacular view from the observation deck (optional, cost 1000JPY). From here, Amanohashidate looks like a dragon soaring into the sky, earning it the nickname “View of the Flying Dragon.” Perfect for a jaw-dropping photo op!

Visit Chionji Temple, renowned for academic success. Check out the impressive temple gate and try the unique fan-shaped omikuji (fortune-telling paper). Amanohashidate Onsen – Chie-no-Yu: Soak in the rejuvenating hot springs known for their skin-enhancing properties. Foot baths are free, while entry to the onsen is 700 JPY (not included).
