Your tour guide will meet you at exit of the airport with the welcoming board on which your name will be written at 08:30 a.m. Then, transfer to the Ming Tombs and start the highlight day tour. A series of temple-like structures and burial mounds, the Ming Tombs contain the remains of 13 of the 16 emperors who ruled China during the Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1644). Of the 13 tombs, three are open to the public and accessible via a statue-lined path called the Sacred Way, where the carvings of mythical animals and legendary figures are believed to ward off evil spirits. The Ming Tombs Museum sits just behind the ticket office and offers a short introduction to each of the 13 entombed emperors. After lunch, you will visit Fragrant Hills Park and wander in Qianmen Street.

Fragrant Hill is a famous forest park and an imperial garden with a long history. Highlights of the mountain include Censer Peak, the Hall of Diligent Government, the Temple of the Azure Clouds, the Memorial Hall of Sun Zhongshan, the Lake of Glasses, Fragrant Hill Temple, the Double Clean Villa, Yu Hua Villa, Zhao Temple, and the Fragrant Hill Cableway that gives you a wide birds-eye view of the park area. Fragrant Hill is especially famous for the maple leaves. When autumn comes, the maple leaves blossom so that the mountain is on fire. Then, you will return back to Beijing downtown and visit Qianmen Main Street.

It is 840 meters in length and 21 meters in width. It is composed with buildings whose styles resemble the late Qing Dynasty. It has history of more than 570 years. Now Qianmen Street becomes an important night life place for locals. Qianmen Street is a symbol of genuine local culture. Visitors can enjoy a traditional Chinese way of life.

Dashilan is located at the center place of ancient Beijing city, which is an important component part of south middle axis. It is in the south of Tian’anmen Square and west of Qianmen Street. Dashilan Street is the most ancient, famous and distinctive commercial street in hutongs of Beijing. Dashilan is 275 meters long from east to west. Dashilan is a narrow street with numerous shops on both sides, which attracts lots of tourists every day. In the area of 1.26 square kilometers around the Dashilan shopping street, many ancient Beijing buildings are best preserved. Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel, Wrap your memories and say good-bye in your hotel.
