This beautiful wind-sheltered, white-sand beach belongs to the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area. Guests can experience up-close encounters with these charismatic creatures, in a breathtaking environment that includes giant granite boulders, rock pools, calm bays, and blissfully uncrowded patches of gleaming sand. Cape Point lies within the southernmost tip of Table Mountains National Park and is part of the Cape Floral Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the richest areas of flora in the world. You can hike up the stairs to the top or take the Flying Dutchman funicular to enjoy the view from the Cape Point lighthouse.
