Considered one of the great botanic gardens in the world, Kirstenbosch, or rather, the land on which it sits was left to the government by Cecil John Rhodes. At the time, it was nothing more than ruined farmland full of pigs. In 1913 a botanist called Harold Pearson began to transform the land into a botanic garden dedicated to the country’s indigenous flora. It now contains more than 7000 species of plants from southern Africa. Spend a few hours here to relax and unwind, have some lunch, and relax in the African sun.

Wine scenery, tasting, and knowledge at its finest. Groot Constantia wine estate is the oldest winery in the country established in 1665.

To end an amazing day in Cape Town, your last stop will be at Bo Kaap, where you'll find the famous Malay colouful houses.
