You have the option to add onto to the Peninsula experience, a ± 40 Minute cruise to a small island situated off the coast of Hout Bay, where you will see a small colony of seals occupying the island at your own cost. The harbour has restaurants, fresh fish outlets and craft stores, with views of the bay and boat rides to Duiker Island and around The Sentinel. The Hout Bay Harbour market happens offers handmade arts and crafts that can be bought, and a range of foods is available.

Boulders Penguin Colony is a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders, from which the name originated. It is in the Cape Peninsula, near Simon's Town towards Cape Point. It is a popular place due to the colony of African penguins which settled there in 1982. These African penguins are only found on the coastlines of Southern Africa - (South Africa & Namibia). One of the only places in the world that you can swim alongside penguins.
