Mutianyu is less crowded and more rugged than the famous Badaling section. Known for its majestic scenery and unique architectural style, the Mutianyu Great Wall offers pleasant views throughout the year. After a leisurely visit, you'll take a cable car or chairlift to the wall, hike for about 1.5 hours along various sections, exploring watchtowers and beacon towers. After the hike, you can opt for a fun toboggan ride or take the cable car/chairlift back down. Finally, you'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
