Our day commence with a stop here at the Castle of Good Hope. Being one of the oldest buildings in South Africa, the Castle of Good Hope is one of the historical stalwarts that is still open to visitors. It captures the historical events that took place in the Castle dating back 350 years ago. The Key ceremony and the Canon Firing all form part of the experience. Please note: The Key Ceremony runs Monday to Friday; Cannon Firing does not take place on a Sunday; These ceremonies are weather dependent.

Known as the Malay Quarter is the colorful houses, our first stop begins here. A multicultural neighborhood dominantly populated by Muslims. Bo-Kaap contains the largest concentration of pre-1850 architecture in South Africa and it's the oldest surviving residential neighborhood in Cape Town. After we leave Lanzerac wine estate we will pop in at Delaire Graff Estate, where you will be left breathless by the art, architecture, gardens and food.

A few minutes drive from Stellenbosch town center lies Lazerac, it is well known to many as a well appointed and elegant country hotel resting within the beautiful Jonkershoek valley. But Lanzerac is more than just a hotel. The historic homestead which bears the 1830 on its gable and lies on the ground that was given to its first owner 140 years earlier also presides over vineyards and also a winery that together produces excellent wines, both red and white . It is also known to be the first winery to bottle a native South African wine called Pinotage. A chocolate and wine pairing here is conducted by well knowledgeable Sommelier.
