Depart from Durban and head first to Howick Falls. From Howick Falls we head to Mandela Capture Site. The Nelson Mandela Capture Site, located near Howick in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a significant historical and cultural landmark commemorating the arrest of Nelson Mandela on August 5, 1962. From Mandela Capture Site we proceed to Drakensberg Mountains where we also do hiking. The Drakensberg Mountains, stretching across South Africa and forming a natural boundary with Lesotho, are a breathtaking landscape of towering peaks, rugged cliffs, and rolling valleys. Known as the "Dragon Mountains" or "uKhahlamba" in Zulu, meaning "Barrier of Spears," the Drakensberg is renowned for its dramatic scenery, lush green foothills, and unique rock formations.
