Upon arrival Lhasa(3650m), the capital of Tibet, your guide will meet you at the arrival exit. On our way to hotel, you can enjoy the heart-beating highland view along the  Yarlong Tsangpo River.

Your will visit Potala Palace this morning, the highlights of the Tibetan capital. The exotic palace has 13 stories and contains more than 1,000 rooms. Afterwards you will taste Tibetan lunch food at a local restaurant.

Then you will head for the visit to Jokhang Temple, which has a history more than 1300 years old, houses one of Tibet's most venerated images, a solid gold statue of Sakyamuni Buddha.

Later you will indulge into local people to walk around the Barkhor Street that is filled with thousands of pilgrims, shops and tea houses.

Today you will drive to Gyangtse via Gampa La pass(4980m) which offers spectacular views of the Nojin Kangsang(7200m) snow ranges and Yamdrok, the turquoise lake (4400m). You can also view the amazing Karola glacier.

You will arrive in Gyangtse (4000m) this afternoon to visit the well-preserved Pelkhor Monastery that is famous for Kumbum Pagoda, which is situated besides Pelkhor with impressive 42.4 meters in height. Afterwards you will drive to Shigatse. On the way you will visit a local Tibetan family to know the daily life of Tibetan people.

After hotel breakfast, you will visit Panchen Lama's seat place, the great Tashilumpo Monastery, which is a big complex with hundreds of temples. Then you will wander around a local market to purchase some souvenirs.

Transferred to Shagatse airport to catch your flight to your next destination, where the trip concludes. There is only one daily flight from Shigatse to Chengdu.
