The Sinaia Monastery is a religious masterpiece of the orthodoxy, built by the Prince Cantacuzino in the 19th century. Formed as a complex with two churches, the monastery is designed in a Byzantine style.

With a history of almost 600 years, The Black Church is the City symbol of Brasov. Modeled after the famous Saint Sebaldus Church from Nurnberg, the church took almost 100 years to be designed and built in order for each detail of the Gothic architecture to be included and perfectly made until the last detail. The location was chosen in the valley surrounded by the thick forest, since it is known that a Catholic nunnery existed in the spot of the actual church before the arrival of the Teutonic knights in the area. In 1689, the overwhelming fire destroyed several parts of the town, and highly damaged the church, the roof being caught in the fire and fell over the floor, leaving a heavy cloud of ash. It is said that the smoke and the flames turned the colour of the walls so black that the name of the church became The Black Church.

The 14th century imposing Bran Castle, is one of the main landmarks of Transylvania, being a popular destination for the people that are interested in its history, as well as for the enthusiats in legends. Famous for its association with the legend of Dracula, the Castle hosts nowadays the museum of furniture dedicated to the Romanian Royal Family, especially to Queen Marie, the one that collected the object, and to whom the people of Brasov gifted the Castle.

Located near the Clock Tower and The Citadel of Sighisoara, it is the house in which Vlad the Impaler was born, in the period of the Turkish invasion, when the ruller of Wallachia, Vlad Dracul and his wife were hosted by the mayor of Sighisoara. It has been said that the monument is the oldest stone building from the city. Nowadays, it hosts a museum and a medieval-style restaurant.

The Hunyad Castle is one of the largest castles from Europe. It was built in the 14th century in a Gothic-Renaissance architecture. It suffered several fires and had to be renovated, each renovation was made in such way that its architecture would not be modified. The castle is divided in three large areas: The Diet Hall, The Knight's Hall, and the circular stairway. It features towers of circular and rectangular forms, considered an innovation for the specific period in Transylvania. The Knight's Hall was used for feasts, meanwhile The Diet Hall was used for ceremonies. The Corvin Castle is one of the best-preserved monuments from Romania.

One of the most artistic orthodox traditions is revealed, 20km from Sibiu, in the village Sibiel, at The ''Pr. Zosim Oancea'' Museum. The museum its named after its founder, and has an exhibition of almost 600 creations, positioning it as the biggest museum of painted icons on glass from transylvania.

The Bridge of Lies is a popular attraction from the Old Town of Sibiu and makes the connection between two important streets. Made of iron, the bridge was the second of its kind from Europe and the first from Romania. Several legends are told about its name, it has been said that the bridge was often crossed by merchants that used to lie to their clients and fool them.
