Even if you don’t know the name Katsushika Hokusai, you have probably seen his famous masterpiece The Great Wave off Kanagawa. While I am not an art historian, I deeply admire Katsushika Hokusai. I would love to share the Sumida area where he spent much of his life and explore the places connected to his story together.
