Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation is The Oldest and The Biggest Orang Utan Rehabilitation in The World where this centre cover 4294 hectare Kabili – Sepilok Forest is a virgin jungle reserve rich in tropical rainforest and mangrove swamp. It was gazette in 1964 as a purposed to rehabilitate the orphaned Baby Orang Utan back to the wild.

20 minute drive to Labuk Bay Proboscis Sanctuary to catch the feeding at 11.30 am of Proboscis Monkeys at Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary actually located 38 KM from Sandakan City and it’s situated at center of mangroves forest as well close to the sea shore. The wild Proboscis Monkeys come out from mangrove vegetation to feed as the food will be served on their own feeding platform provided. This is the only place in Borneo were the opportunity see this monkey in the very close range. Normally 3 to 5 groups of Proboscis Monkey come out to feed. Silver Leaf Monkey and Hornbill maybe can be seen at the sanctuary

Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. This is the first Sun Bear Conservation Centre in the world. The Sun Bear (also known as honey bear) is a smallest bears in the world. The facilities of the centre include a bear house that can hold 20 bears, 1.14 hectares of natural forest enclosures where the sun bears roam freely during the day and the old bear house and office building that are to be converted into the visitor centre.

Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC) is located 1.2 km from the Sepilok. Learn about rainforest ecology and experience it amazing biodiversity while walking along a network of trails in the forest. See interesting 250 displays of plants and a 150 meter long canopy walkway provides a spectacular view of the lush rainforest of Sepilok from 25meter above ground. Walk among tall rainforest tree and observe life high up in the canopy.
