Þórsmörk is a wide valley, named after the Viking god of thunder, Þór. The nature reserve has an abundance of flowers and trees where the icy river Krossá winds between jagged mountains. A truly epic place to visit on a day tour. The first stop of the day is the unique Seljalandsfoss waterfall. A must see on any tour heading along the south coast. We will be crossing rivers and harsh terrain to get to the first views of Gígjökull, an outlet glacier of Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano, a quick stop before continuing to the valley of Þórsmörk.
