Hector Peterson Museum –covering the 1976 student protests that changed the face of South Africa’s politics; The protest was sparked by the Government's insistence to impose the Afrikaans language as the new language of learning in "black schools." The aftermath of this protest that was initiated, organized and led by students themselves became the turning point of the politics of South Africa. In the process of hundreds of school children were shot and many lost their lives whiles others fled into exile.

Regina Mundi Church alias The people’s parliament; the hosting venue for the funerals of many who died during the protests against the Apartheid system covering the 1976 through to the 1980s.
