A Village That Transforms with the Seasons: Dry Season (Nov–May): As the water recedes, the towering 6–8 meter stilt houses stand tall, revealing the wooden poles beneath.

Many villagers move onto the lake, setting up floating houses until the rains return. Wet Season (Jun–Oct): As the Tonle Sap Lake expands, the water level rises, turning the village into a true floating community. The flooded mangrove forests surrounding the village become a sanctuary for wildlife, including crab-eating macaques and a variety of fish and birds.
