Istana Negara or the King Palace is the official residence of the King, the monarch of Malaysia. The National Textile Museum is a museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum is open daily from 9am to 6pm, free admission. It is adjacent to the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Central Market began life as a wet market in 1888, built by Yap Ah Loy, the city’s Chinese Kapitan. It served as a prominent landmark in colonial and modern-day Kuala Lumpur.
