Your journey begins in the early morning with a hotel pickup (optional), followed by a scenic drive to the starting point at the foot of Mount Batur. Meet your experienced local trekking guide and begin the hike under the stars with flashlights lighting the path. The trek takes approximately 1.5–2 hours to reach the summit. Once at the top, relax and enjoy a simple breakfast while watching the sun rise over the volcanic landscape. On clear days you can see Mount Agung, the highest volcano in Bali, and the beautiful caldera surrounding Lake Batur. After sunrise, explore the crater area and learn about the volcanic history of Mount Batur before descending back to the base camp.
