There are four different 5th Stations on Mt. Fuji, each serving as the highest point accessible by vehicle on its respective route. During the climbing season, these stations serve as base camps for hikers beginning their ascent to the summit. On this tour, we usually visit the most popular and scenic 5th Station, which is connected to the Yoshida Trail, the most frequently used climbing route on Mt. Fuji. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji's summit, the surrounding lakes, and the beautiful landscapes below. The area also features a variety of shops where you can browse and purchase Mt. Fuji-themed souvenirs, local specialties, and snacks.

On a clear day, you can enjoy stunning panoramic vistas of Mt. Fuji and capture beautiful photographs of its reflection on the lake's surface. The area is also home to a variety of shops and market stalls selling seasonal fruits, local produce, and regional specialties. After lunch, we will continue to Hakone, Japan's most famous hot spring resort area. Nestled within a beautiful national park, Hakone offers a variety of attractions and activities, as well as stunning views of nature and, on clear days, Mt. Fuji. One of the highlights of Hakone is a cruise on Lake Ashi aboard one of its iconic pirate ships. This scenic one-way boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. While you enjoy the cruise, your driver will travel by road to the other side of the lake and wait for you at the arrival port. Please note that the boat cruise is optional, and the ticket cost is not included in the tour price.

Hakone Shrine is the oldest and most famous Shinto shrine in Hakone, with a history spanning more than 1,200 years. Nestled within a peaceful forest, the shrine's main hall is reached by climbing a series of steep stone steps lined with towering Japanese cedar trees, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The shrine is also renowned as one of Japan's most photogenic locations. Its iconic red torii gate stands on the shore of Lake Ashi, appearing to float on the water. This picturesque setting attracts visitors from around the world, and many people line up to take memorable photos beneath the gate with the beautiful lake and surrounding scenery as a backdrop.

After an unforgettable day exploring the Mt. Fuji and Hakone area, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel in Tokyo. The drive typically takes approximately 90 to 120 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Alternatively, you may choose to return to Tokyo by Japan's iconic bullet train (Shinkansen). Although this option is not included in the tour price, it is a fast and comfortable way to travel. The journey from Odawara Station, located at the foot of the Hakone mountains, to Tokyo Station takes only about 35 minutes. If you choose this option, your guide will assist you in boarding the train before concluding the tour.
