After arriving by bus from Takasaki Station, you’ll reach the Tashiro Ropeway Base Station, the starting point of your journey into the mountains. Here, you’ll board the Tashiro Ropeway, which is known as Japan’s highest cable car, reaching a height of 230 meters above the ground. The 10-minute ride offers a smooth and scenic ascent through the forested slopes of Niigata Prefecture.
