In the morning, you will be picked up from your Shanghai hotel by private driver and come to airport for the flight to Xian.

Upon your arrival at Xian airport, the local English-speaking tour guide will hold a sign with your name at the exit to greet you, and drive about 1 hour to Terracotta Warriors. Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Terracotta Army slept under the ground for 2,200 years before the accidental discovery by local farmers who were digging wells. The life-size clay warriors differ from one another in clothing, hairstyle, posture, and facial expression. Since its opening to the public in 1979, it has attracted millions of people from all over the world each year. You will be guided to visit Pit 1, 2 and 3.

Next, visit the Ancient City Wall (also known as the Fortification of Xian). The city wall is a kind of defensive structure in Ancient Times and represents one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved Chinese city walls. Spend some time leisurely walking on the wall and enjoy its inner and outer walls, watchtowers, and moat, and have panoramic views of modern Xian. After the tour, you will be sent to Xian airport for return way flight to Shanghai.

Please meet the Shanghai driver at the airport arrival hall exit who will hold a sign with your name, and then drive back to your Shanghai hotel for rest.
